UGC isn't just top-of-funnel awareness content — it earns a spot at every stage of the funnel when used deliberately.
At the top, hook-driven UGC interrupts the scroll for cold audiences who've never heard of the brand. In the middle, testimonial-style and "what I wish I knew before buying" content handles objections for warm audiences who are considering but haven't converted. At the bottom, urgency or offer-driven UGC ("this is the deal I used") nudges retargeting audiences over the line.
Treating UGC as a single undifferentiated bucket of "creator content" is a missed opportunity. Mapping specific pieces to specific funnel stages — and briefing creators with that stage in mind — tends to outperform a generic content drop every time.
