Usage rights are one of the most overlooked line items in influencer deals, and they should be priced separately from the content creation itself.

Be specific about what you're asking for: organic posting only, or paid usage too? Which platforms? For how long — 30 days, 6 months, in perpetuity? Whitelisting access or just a raw file handoff? Each of those is a different value exchange, and creators (rightly) charge more the broader the rights.

A clean way to structure it: a base fee for content creation, plus an add-on fee for paid usage rights with a defined time window. This keeps negotiations straightforward and avoids the awkward conversation three months later when you want to keep running an ad that was only licensed for 30 days.
