The best-performing UGC ads tend to share a structure, regardless of niche:
- A hook in the first 2–3 seconds that states a problem or a bold claim
- A relatable setup — why the creator needed this product
- A demonstration, not just a description
- An honest objection handled on camera ("I was skeptical because...")
- A clear, low-pressure call to action
What's notably absent: high production value. Shaky handheld footage, natural lighting, and imperfect audio often outperform polished studio shoots because they read as real. The job of a UGC video isn't to look like an ad — it's to look like a recommendation.
